Is Gratuity/Tip Included?
For your convenience, all of our packages have gratuity included. If you received exceptional service please feel free to leave an additional gratuity. If you received subpar service, please ask for a manager.
Do I need to Tip the Bartender at the Venue?
What is the breakdown of the Taxes & Fees?
In the city of Philadelphia, alcohol purchases are subject to a 10% liquor sale tax. In addition, there is an online booking fee and 18% gratuity, 5% Processing Fee on all purchases.
What is the dress code?
We encourage you to come as you are, but at Rec & Royal, it’s always more fun to dress up than dress down. We do ask that gentlemen refrain from wearing sweatpants, steel-toed or work boots, sleeveless t-shirts, or undershirts. For ladies, we ask that you refrain from wearing ugg boots, flip-flops, or sandals.

All bags, backpacks, purses or parcels are subject to search. You are not allowed to bring the following items into Rec & Royal:

- Disruptive Behavior
- Use of Profane, Obscene, or Abusive Language or Gestures of Any Type
- Possession of Illegal or Unauthorized Items Inside the Venue
- Indecent Exposure
- Throwing of Any Objects Anywhere in the Venue
- Verbally Abusing, Threatening, or Intimidating Other Customers or Venue Employee
- Participating in a Fight
- Entering or Attempting to Enter Any “Restricted” Areas Such as VIP Areas, Stage Area, Back of House or Restrooms of the Opposite Sex
- Going to the Bathroom in Areas other than the Restroom
- Any Action that, in the opinion of Vesper/Venue/Security/Management, Places Other Customers in Danger or Reduced Their Enjoyment of the Event.
- Ejected Guests Will NOT Receive a Refund For Their Admission or Be Compensated in Any Way For Their Loss
