We encourage you to come as you are, but at Vesper, it’s always more fun to dress up than dress down. We do ask that gentlemen refrain from wearing sweatpants, steel-toed or work boots, sleeveless t-shirts, or undershirts. For ladies, we ask that you refrain from wearing ugg boots, flip-flops, or sandals.

At Rec & Royal we abide by the law! Section 13.102 of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s Regulations prohibits retail licensees from engaging in selling or serving an unlimited or indefinite amount of alcohol for a set price. 40 Pa. Code § 13.102(b)(1), 40 Pa. Code § 13.102(a)(1)-(4).

Retail licensees are permitted to sell and serve an unlimited or indefinite amount of alcoholic beverages at a fixed price (which is normally prohibited by 40 Pa. Code § 13.102(a)(3)) for catered events arranged at least twenty-four hours in advance.

If you see it at other venues, they are acting in violation of Pennsylvania State Liquor law. You can report them to the Pennsylvania State Police by calling 1-800-932-0602.

Yes! Rec & Royal has a state of the art guest wifi network which you can access.

Yes. Our elevator provides ample room for wheelchairs and most aspects of the venue are level and easily navigable.

All bags, backpacks, purses or parcels are subject to search. You are not allowed to bring the following items into Rec & Royal:

• Illegal Substances or Paraphernalia
• Beverages (Including Alcohol)
• Backpacks and Bags are Subject to Search
• No Firearms, Knives, or Weapons of Any Kind – Management Reserves the Right to Define
• Non-Professional or Professional Cameras with Detachable, Long or Extending Lenses
• Fireworks, Explosives, or Projectiles of Any Kind
• Vaporizers or E-Cigs
• Pets (Except Service Animals)
• Recording Devices of Any Kind, Audio or Video
• Any Other Item Deemed Unacceptable by Building Manager/Venue/Security/Management

Guests may be ejected for reasons including, but not limited to the following:

• Public Intoxication
• Use of Illegal Substances or Drugs
• Disruptive Behavior
• Use of Profane, Obscene, or Abusive Language or Gestures of Any Type
• Possession of Illegal or Unauthorized Items Inside the Venue
• Indecent Exposure
• Throwing of Any Objects Anywhere in the Venue
• Verbally Abusing, Threatening, or Intimidating Other Customers or Venue Employee
• Participating in a Fight
• Entering or Attempting to Enter Any “Restricted” Areas Such as VIP Areas, Stage Area, Back of House or Restrooms of the Opposite Sex
• Going to the Bathroom in Areas other than the Restroom
• Any Action that, in the opinion of Vesper/Venue/Security/Management, Places Other Customers in Danger or Reduced Their Enjoyment of the Event.
• Ejected Guests Will NOT Receive a Refund For Their Admission or Be Compensated in Any Way For Their Loss
