What is the dress code?

We encourage you to come as you are, but at Rec & Royal, it’s always more fun to dress up than dress down. We do ask that gentlemen refrain from wearing sweatpants, steel-toed or work boots, sleeveless t-shirts, or undershirts. For ladies, we ask that you refrain from wearing ugg boots, flip-flops, or sandals.

What is your refund policy on tickets?

Due to limited space inside Rec & Royal, we want to be assured that everyone has an equal chance to enjoy the experience. Tickets are non-refundable.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, Credit Card, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover

What items are prohibited from Rec Room?

All bags, backpacks, purses or parcels are subject to search. You are not allowed to bring the following items into Rec Room:

Illegal Substances or Paraphernalia
Beverages (Including Alcohol)
Backpacks and Bags are Subject to Search
No Firearms, Knives, or Weapons of Any Kind – Management
Reserves the Right to Define
Non-Professional or Professional Cameras with Detachable, Long or Extending Lenses
Fireworks, Explosives, or Projectiles of Any Kind
Vaporizers or E-Cigs
Pets (Except Service Animals)
Recording Devices of Any Kind, Audio or Video
Any Other Item Deemed Unacceptable by Building
Manager/Venue/Security/Management

Are there prohibited acts at Rec Room Philadelphia?

Guests may be ejected for reasons including, but not limited to the following:

Public Intoxication
Use of Illegal Substances or Drugs
Disruptive Behavior
Use of Profane, Obscene, or Abusive Language or Gestures of Any Type
Possession of Illegal or Unauthorized Items Inside the Venue
Indecent Exposure
Throwing of Any Objects Anywhere in the Venue
Verbally Abusing, Threatening, or Intimidating Other Customers or Venue Employee
Participating in a Fight
Entering or Attempting to Enter Any “Restricted” Areas Such as VIP Areas, Stage Area, Back of House or Restrooms of the Opposite Sex
Going to the Bathroom in Areas other than the Restroom
Any Action that, in the opinion of Rec & Royal/Venue/Security/Management, Places Other Customers in Danger or Reduced Their Enjoyment of the Event.
Ejected Guests Will NOT Receive a Refund For Their Admission or Be Compensated in Any Way For Their Loss

Where can I park?

Parking for Rec & Royal is easily accessible with multiple locations within a short walking distance.
1. Sofitel Valet is directly across the street from Rec & Royal.
2. Hotel Palomar Valet is next to Rec & Royal.
3. 1728 Sansom Street Interpark Garage

Does everyone need to be 21?

Yes, due to our lively brunch atmosphere with alcohol, everyone must be 21.

Can I bring a birthday cake?

Yes, You Can! We can present the cake with sparklers and signs, but we do not serve the cake. Unfortunately, some guests have taken advantage of our cake policy and made a mess of our venue so we no longer allow the cake to be served to patrons. We’re Sorry!

Fun in theory for the participants, but not fun for our staff that has to clean.

Does my entire party need to arrive at the same time?

No, the entire party does not have to show up at the same time.

Can I bring in a weapon if I have a permit to carry?

No. Unfortunately, we do not allow weapons of any kind into the venue. You will be subject to a bag check and metal detector at our venue. Due to the unfortunate events that have happened throughout our country we instituted this policy for the safety of all of our guests.
